Using Rive animations saved the team months of development time, proving that design and engineering can thrive together. "We decided to push Rive to the limit to create a bold, personalized experience," Hero's Designer Akhil Patel told us.

Engineer Saharsh Vedi elaborated on the engineering side of things. "I didn't have to spend hours coding complex animations and custom views in Swift. Instead, I focused on injecting dynamic data into Rive's state machines and handling Rive events. I let Rive do the heavy lifting. The time we saved by using Rive was redirected toward addressing edge cases. But more importantly, our designer had full creative freedom, which meant a better end experience."
