    Manipulating Shapes

    Manipulating Shapes Overview

The Rive editor gives you multiple ways to manipulate your graphics to create the animation that you want. In addition to adding the basic transform properties, you can use bones, groups, meshes, and vertices to give your graphics and animations some added flair.

    Bones

Bones allow you to create a skeleton for your graphics.

    Meshes

Meshes are an excellent way to add natural and organic deformations to raster graphics.

    Clipping

Clipping allows you to cut one shape out from another.

    Solos

A Solo is similar to a group, but adds the ability to toggle the rendering of nested objects.

    Trim Path

The Trim Path feature allows you to draw only a portion of the stroke on a vector shape.

    Joysticks

Joysticks make it easy to set up sophisticated rigs with simple controls.
