How to Loop an Animation at any desired time within the timeline

Hello,

Im very new to RIve coming from AE and wondered if and how it is possible to have the first 5 seconds of my animation play. Then after the first 5 seconds of the animation has resolved, the next animation can play on a continuous loop?

Happy to go into more detail if this makes no sense...

Hi, as I understand, you need two timelines: 'animation1' and 'animation2'.
Enter 'animation2' and set it as loop (click arrow next to play button to choose loop option).
Set state machine this way:
Entry -> animation1 -> animation2
Now, select the second arrow, select Exit time and set to 5000ms.

Hope that works.

Hi , Here you can export the file in .riv. Let me know if you have any problems with the export.
