Duplicating Animated Object Across Artboard
Hey! Not sure how to do this, but I've got an object with the animations and listeners all set up and ready to go. I'm wanting to duplicate that same object with all of the animations/listeners multiple times across the artboard, so that when I move the mouse across, each animation will trigger as it passes over each object. I tried just straight up duplicating the object and hitting play, but that isn't making the new object animate. How would I go about doing this?
If you duplicate your animated object (command+d or ctrl+d on Windows) (select the object in the hierarchy, and then make sure a timeline with your animation keys is selected), it should duplicate the object as well as the keys. If you have additional timelines with keys, you'll need to copy and paste keys to the new object. Another option is to use nested artboards. So if you have an interaction set up, you can then take that artboard and nest it inside another artboard, and all of the listeners and interactions will be available to you, and you can duplicate as many times as needed. Here's an example (each dot is a nested artboard with a hover interaction). Let us know if you have any further questions!
