Animate on scroll from rive to framer

Trying to import my rive animation into framer and then have the animation play only when the animation layer is in view. Do I implement this on framer or rive? I can't seem to find any tutorials on this! Thank you!

Hi Shelby! I think this can be solve in Framer, I found something in the Framer community that might help: I'm copying and pasting from there.
Answer says: "Make a smart component (with the rive animation) with two variants, one where the animation is playing and one where it isn't. Use a scroll variant effect to switch between these." Hope this helps!
There's a support channel in their community as well. So you can ask there too https://www.framer.community/c/support/

Wassup Shelby! you can also create code component and paste the framer code from rive to framer, which will expose rive inputs in framer! combining with method that @lala mentioned you can create pretty complex animations and state transitions in framer!
