Turning path on/off in the timeline
It is not possible to turn the opacity of a path down. It is also not possible to turn the path off in a timeline similar to they eye icon. This causes design issues in specific use cases.
Please add the ability to turn off a path in a timeline.
Setting the opacity to 0 of the parent object has not the same effect as with individual path if multiple strokes are overlapping. Setting the scale of a path to 0 does not remove it (a small dot is visible). Moving the path out of view conflicts with another timeline which sets the position.
It's hard to understand what's happening when setting opacity to zero. Could you provide a screenshot of the issue?
Another possible workaround you could try would be adding the path to a solo object and then adding an empty group as another member of the solo. I have used this for character customization. For instance, making a character bald as an option without having to set the opacity to zero.
Actually, I found another workaround. I set the scale to 0, then move it out of the way at the same time. The position conflict was not affected because the vertex position was set in the timeline, but moving it out of the way was done by setting the object position, so it all worked out well.
