Adding SVG files gets stuck in "Analyzing" or "Processing"

Is it just me or has SVG stopped working? It just says "analyzing" or "processing" and never gets past that. I've tried re-adding them with no luck, and have tried many different images. PNG always works.

I'm using version 0.8.1268 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max

Hi A common reason this happens is that the SVG contains a feature that the Rive app does not currently support. But there may be another explanation. If you'd like to share a couple of examples with us here or with Support, we can take a look.

Are you copy-pasting the SVGs from Figma or other app, or are you dragging the SVGs from your desktop into the editor?

Btw, if you select an asset that is "stuck" during the upload, you can hit the delete key to delete the asset and cancel the import.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I new to rive and am having the exact same issue and cannot find a solution. My svg files imported are stuck on processing.

, I'll be happy to answer the questions asked, in hopes it will help find a solution. I am exporting the .svg file from inkscape and then importing it into rive. Its a "plain svg" export option selected.

I have uploaded the svg in question here, hopefully this will help resolve my issue.

Uploading the attached svg to rive gets stuck on processing as in the screenshot OP posted.

I'm also having the exact same issue. I tried "copy as SVG" on Figma and pasting in Rive as well as exporting from Figma as SVG then dragging and dropping. Neither option worked, no matter how much I simplified the SVG (attached fro reference). Is this a bug?
