To make this animation I have created some animations and used different layers in the State Machine. The main animation is the growth of the trunk and branches. For this I have used the translation and scale constraints, to transform the height and width of the trunk. I have created two animations for the trunk (In and Out) and these animations I have used in a Blend State in the State machine (Tree trunk layer). The input is of numerical type and controls the growth of the trunk using values between 0 and 100. I have also created the animations of the different leaves or group of leaves in different steps (small, medium and large tree). Each group of leaves of each branch (right, left and central branch) are connected to the branches using a translation constraint, so when the trunk and the branches move, the animations of the leaves move with the branches. Finally, in the state machine I have created a layer per branch of the tree that controls when the leaf animations are activated. #StateMAchine #Bones #Constraints #BlendState
